An up to date Nurse Call system is placed in all rooms’ bathrooms and communal areas.
The staff and everyone associated with Merstone Hall are here to offer complete support to residents and their relatives. Support is given with eating, personal hygiene, limited mobility or continence needs.

OUR FACILITIES
Merstone Hall Nursing home accommodates up to 45 residents within a spacious three storey building. The home consists of individually styled single rooms and double rooms, many of which have en-suite facilities Merstone Hall aims to provide quality, individually tailored nursing care within a secure, relaxed and homely environment.
On the ground floor our spacious lounges provide peaceful areas for residents and their relatives to sit and talk or take afternoon tea. From here the residents have easy wheelchair access to the dining room, lounge and gardens. The large lounge is divided into 3 distinct areas where residents may listen to music, watch television and relax. Pleasantly landscaped garden to the front is an ideal place to sit and relax or walk with visitors.
Individual requests and preferences are always considered and where possible, implemented. A laundry service is provided at no additional cost, however all clothing brought into the home on admission and thereafter must be labelled with personalised name tags to avoid losses.
The home provides chiropody and hairdressing services, regular activities and access to medical, ophthalmic, and dental services. Every effort is made to ensure that the residents’ needs are met on a physical, psychological and social level. Staff provides privacy and dignity and respect individual choices and rights. Resident confidentiality is maintained at all times.
